Will never spend a dime here. They don't care about their loyal customers. They only care about money. I know it's a business and they need profits to stay open… read more but charging their customers almost $20 for a case of water during this coronavirus pandemic is in humane. Why treat people in need with little regard? Never will I spend money here.

  Local, authentic Mexican food! We got pupusas, soft tacos, and burritos. We had chicken and steak soft tacos that were packed with meat; would definitely get their tacos again. We also tried their quesabirria tacos with consommé. Oh my goodness… these were incredible!!! Plenty of meat and cheese in these and not overly greasy. I do wish the consommé has just a tad bit more flavor though, but the tacos themselves made up for that for sure! The burritos were probably our favorite item we ordered. We got a steak and a ground beef burrito. A nice balance between the protein and other fillings; these were seasoned perfectly and very large. They have several types of salsa to choose from to… or try them all!

There is also a market area where you can pickup packaged goods. They have fresh juices and horchata available as well. They have a freezer with fresh pops from la Michoacána too!

  This place is always open. Literally for 24 hours! Not a big fan of the veggie tacos. But the taco salad is pretty decent. & the food is authentic.

  Let me be frank, I've never been to La Milpa sober or before 1AM.  ‍  I'm just being honest.
However, in the multiple times that I've gone, I've had no issues… read more with their tortas (that's what I usually get).  I've also gotten tortas to go and saved them for breakfast and they were still delicious so I will keep La Milpa at 5 stars for that.  They're an excellent place to go after you leave the bar/club and want real food.  At the times that I go, there's sometimes a bit of commotion (the cops were called the last time I went), but it's just part of the ambience and I've never felt unsafe when I was there.
